EXIT Advent Calendar: The Missing Hollywood Star: Day 2

Still reeling from the ingenuity of this one (and it's only day 2 for goodness sake).

Starts off with this story piece:

Here's page two with the four puzzle cards from behind the door -- not shown here is a picture of the room behind the door which essentially just showed the way these four cards should be laid out.

Now what to do next, how do we work out which symbols are incorrect....as predicted in the preview feature, the box of the Advent Calendar itself comes to the rescue:

Did you spot these four symbols in the Preview piece?  No, me neither.

Six doors for each row -- each door has a set of three symbols -- each card lists three rows with six symbols....very nicely tied in.   Colouring in the wrong symbols give us this:

Tells us to look for EXIT....and the red fuse, at the foot of the T.   Look for EXIT, look for the foot of a T.

The box rescues us again -- the word EXIT is written all over the damn thing, the front, the back, the sides, even the two rules books have it, and three of these have a very subtle number on:

Despite me saying in the Preview piece the box would be useful, I noticed neither the symbols to the left of the doors, nor these numbers in the Ts....

Very creative.

On another note, the so-called missing hollywood star is referred to again in the text and it's is more convincing than ever that this is not a person but a thing....
