The Night Agent, Series Three

The reason this seems to have come along really quickly is it took me ages to watch series two as I thought it would be irritating retread of series one, and it wasn't really.  This was ten episodes of hokum, but it was enjoyable hokum (with a great D&D reference) and it perhaps said something I binged on this because all episodes dropped at once, as opposed to maybe half a dozen other series I'm watching one episode a week of (and perhaps enjoying less as a result).

Small Prophets

Not as good as it's supposed to be. No moral compunction/regret in killing the prophets (and clearly they had feelings because they were scared when the nasty person shouted and when that lady screamed and desired freedom and were prepared to fight for it).   So let's just kill them off in one move and that's ok then. Not funny enough.

Gideon Falls v4, v5

Best way to describe this book at this stage is shit gets weird(er). Neither book are a jumping on point, overall plot seems to be becoming a bit clearer though and it's a nice touch that the Black Barn is perhaps a prison for the big bad holding it secure, and so when it explodes....

Gideon Falls, v3

Weirdly now that we feel we have a grasp of what the Black Barn is and its occupant, the story feels somewhat more pedestrian!   Like it's playing out the beats of multiple worlds/timelines and characters are encountering each other in different combinations but surprises....not many. Strange.

The Yes/No Game, Series One

German TV show with the odd bit of English thrown in, most notably the title.  Good fun!

Fallout, Series 2

Poor start, improved ending, not as good as S1 but inspiring enough to want to play Fallout 4 again...after ten years away from it

Gideon Falls v2

Good continuation, not as obscure as first thought...
